IHI-CPCS New multiple Boiler Control System

IHI-CPCS New multiple Boiler Control System for multi-installation of once through boiler supplier Constant and steam as large capacity boiler plant.

On multi-installation of once through boiler steam from each boiler is led once to steam header, from where steam is supplied to each facility.

Detecting steam pressure of the header, multiple boiler control panel sends combustion signal (Stop, Low Firing , Middle Firing, High Firing)

To each boiler so as to keep the steam pressure in the pressure pre-designated.
Receiving those signals each boiler decides combustion level.

We have developed latest Multiple boiler control system IHI-CPCS instead of conventional step-Shaped control system and obtained a patent for this technology.

Conventional Control System

Conventional step-shaped control system decides boiler combustion level according to step-shaped Pressure level. In other word when steam pressure
of steam header decreases, combustion signal To each boiler increases. When steam pressure rises, combustion signal decreases. This means that Boiler
cannot show 100% ability until steam pressure decreases down to the lowest pressure subdivided. The more number of boiler is, the lower steam
pressure on which boiler can show 100%
Ability becomes.
For example in case of 2 T/H boiler x four units, even though target of steam pressure is 8.5 Kg/cm2
Combustion signal that all four boilers run at 100% capacity is not sent until steam pressure decreases down to 7.4 kg/cm2 .
Thus it is not possible to supply constants and steady steam like large capacity boiler plant.

Advantage of IHI-CPCS System

On the other hand IHI-CPCS sends combustion control signal so that target steam pressure of steam header is kept within ± 0.2 kg/cm2 of the target
steam pressure.
When steam of 8.5 kg/cm2 is required, steam pressure is kept at 8.5 kg/cm2.
That is, when steam pressure decreases, following boiler runs or increases combustion level.
When steam pressure rises boiler combustion leveldecreases so as to keep steam pressure constantly at 8.5 kg/cm2
Even though steam load fluctuates, constant steam pressure can kept as close as at target pressure And even in case that number of boilers are so
many, boiler can show 100% ability at high target steam pressure.
Thus it is becomes possible to supply constant and steady steam like large capacity boiler plant.
